Andd more old art from 2009! This tiem I was trying to make a bit of a reference for a species I have known colloquially as 'sewercrawlers', seen here next to Chaz for scale. Can you guess why they're called that, and can you guess what lurks in at least one of the underground waterways of Central-

Sewercrawlers are a partly aquatic species similarish to crocodiles in some ways, and are basically big, nonsentient dragony things. There are both greater sewercrawlers- what's seen here- and lesser sewercrawlers, a smaller subspecies that's a bit more agile and tend to live in packs. Sewercrawlers are territorial, and also ambush predators, and it's unclear how one managed to make its way into the dark waterways below the city, but it likely did so when it was much smaller- Jawz and Kaerith have both had run ins with it, and the specific individual is known loosely as CVOSC, Central's Very Own SewerCrawler, and sports a large scarred gash on their face, couresty Kaerith. These fuckers can and will attack people, and are something that the SSTF would absolutely be called out to come handle, and possibly have in the case of CVOSC. You'd think I'd have any colored art of these guys after all this time, but to the best of my knowledge they're kinda just muddy, murky greens and browns. One pair of eyes rests slightly higher than the other, possibly so that one pair can remain below water while the other scans above when they're partly submerged.
