The creeper spider is Forsaken's tattoo, an infectious looking thing which also serves as his messenger, a sort of extension of his mental powers (which will be revealed in a much more brutal fashion later on in the comic). Unfortunetely, being only half-sane, and not exactly big on the typical morals (there is no "evil" in this story.), he never really uses his powers for all the right things.

His eyes are acid green, btw. I was thinking of coloring them in, but since they have as much significance as Val's blood red, and are so much more of a pain to find the exact color for, I didn't bother. xD
