The Arctic fox of Norway - called fjellrev. A few of them live scattered over the Norwegian tundras and are endangered here. Attempts to breed pups in special breeding stations and release them in the wild are one of the projects the Norwegian Institute for Nature Research is active in.
I recently saw a program on television about arctic foxes in Norway and got - next to more ideas- the impulsive idea to draw one.
Made with Adobe photoshop CS2 in approx. 3 hours - kinda speed painting. I didn't focus too much on details.
