cooner did these Big Guy badges earlier this year, depicting the commissioner's character lifting up the top portion of the badge over his head, with little tear marks where he ripped it off the bottom half of the badge. Although my characters are not super-buff muscle dudes (though the dragon is closer to such than the roo), they do love to grow. So I asked if I could get a growy version of the Big Guy badge concept. After a bunch of back-and-forth and a few rejected sketch concepts, cooner hatched this double-sided idea, and I was all over it. :) They seem like they're opposite, but if you brain a little and put them back-to-back, you can see how the wing of Rooth'ragon aligns with the tail of Rooth'roo, and the heels lign up, and all that. It's a brilliant idea, and I'm so grateful to cooner for it!
