Day 218 - May 10th, 2741

I had intended to make this entry last night, but I got a little carried away it would seem.

I said my goodbyes to Brick yesterday, thanking him for the help. He was going to stick around the Nest for a bit, catch up with some old contacts and regain contact with Quincy HQ. There was some venom in his voice at that last part. Clearly, he didn't think highly about what was going on either, but I'll have to leave him to it. I don't want to get involved any further. I'm done with that fucking bullshit. I just can't take any more.

He gave me a cred chip he took off 40, a contact ID in case I found myself back in Quincy turf, and some parting words. If I do follow through on 40's mission, drop the facade and break the Link the first moment I can. He then turned to walk away into the busy city.

So what happens now? I don't fucking know. Cpt. Hanes is my only lead at getting into Paradise and finding other wielders. But its a massive risk, not sure if my heart or mind is in any place to do that right now. Should just focus on keeping Cpt. Hanes at bay.

I did restock my supplies, more food, water, and general stuff. Afterwards I grabbed some cooked food and cold drink. That tavern I visited the last time I was here wasn't too far away. But one drink turned into two, then five. Not my proudest moment.

Well, today is a new day. Hopefully, it turns out better.

40's Cred chip had 1,500c on it. Not bad at all.

But I blew 100c on drinks. I really shouldn't do that again.
