Honestly, I think you're getting a lot of reptiles in forest/water scenes because you do both so well. The wooded river/lake scenes from a few of the recent works, in fact, could almost be commissions on their own, without the pesky reptiles getting in the shot. :>

I almost feel sorry for that poor otter; he seems to have no idea what is lurking just behind him!

That environment is incredible, T-Kast!! The color palette is so muted, it's almost like tinted black-and-white, but there's so much depth and detail, it just wraps you up in that world. And keeping the background so green just makes that red stripe down  aeto's back scream out. Wonderful design in this, like all your works!

Niiiiice! I love the snake's gaze, and the loooooong coils in the background! Seldomly I've seen such nice snake artwork, you've got a new watcher! :D

Now this I really like. Not just because you've managed to show the length of a naga very well, but that's an excellent background-and-lighting combo.

Quite the sneaky looking serpent here...the graceful way the coils dip in and out of the water is just magnificent!
