Can't say I know Mondrian, but I will now take a glance since you've peaked my curiosity. No, the painting is more inspired by Russian Constructivism with elements of East Asian religious thrown into the mix.

I recognize the art, but never put a name to it. I'd certainly say that Mondrian did indeed influence some of the structure, though I'm not one for the primary colours that he uses. Good to know.
