He's managed to stumble and slink his way through encounters with Rarity (who figured out his fashion) and Twilight (who absolutely had him on the back foot about Hearths Warming/Christmas) but poor "Prince Chimera" now has to deal with perhaps the most awkward encounter of all - Pinkie Pie and her proficiency at partying.
And that's how the lanky quasi-alicorn found himself tangled in balloons and ribbons and tied to a chair for a one-man celebration of his arrival in Ponyville. Or worse, perhaps the rest of the party is waiting just outside - a great big social event for the prettiest new diplomat from a faraway kingdom.
Not to mention Pinkie's perceptiveness... I'm sure he's fine!
