At what point do you become a villain? Azarias had never been drawn to violence: dominance and short temper were not his companions. Maybe it was an accident? A minor event that catches you at the most inopportune moment: once, two, three, ten, forty. The choice you make doesn't matter, because initially there was no choice. "Hit or run" is a vicious circle. And is it so bad to choose "hit"? Does that make you a villain?

the darkness recedes, and the air gives off an unpleasant smell of burning and metal. The heavy head is ringing inside, the sounds are almost indistinguishable - they have become a single hum. bright light hits the eyes. the beast raises its disobedient head: water flows down its fur, making its weight even heavier. black smoke billows into the air, lies, violence and life burn out in it. Could it be otherwise? unlikely.
a clumsy attempt to rise ends in failure and the wolf's body falls back into the water, the eyes refuse to look anywhere else - only there. Azarias will no longer be tormented by old nightmares: he killed them. Or is it just his imagination?
