Quick promotional doodle I cranked out between other commissions..
After I get a few more commissions done, and sort out some other things going on in regards to my caregiving job (see also: the piddly amount I'm getting paid to interrupt my time 3 days every week not being worth it at this point) I'm going to offer a few spots for people to basically hire me as their art slave for the day.
I'm still working out how I want to run it, probably set it up as auctions to start.. but essentially, you could pay me for upwards of 10-12 hours (not necessarily all in the same sitting) and in that time, I'll draw whatever you want, live. Either via skype or a streaming service, whichever is preferred. This could be a series of sketches, something complete from start to finish, or I could even offer art lessons of sorts and share what I know. (that is not to be taken as an offer to teach people my "style". Find your own style, I worked 20+ years for mine. But I will share techniques and how I do certain things.)
But yes... an idea that is in the works. Any feedback about it is also appreciated :3 I'm wandering into this with no idea what I'm actually gonna do about it xD

Anyway. It seems like a cool idea, and something I might ask for when I have more money, etc etc. :3 [I think wfa does something similar (though I don’t know if they stream the whole thing), so they might be able to tell you what sort of organisation works well for this kind of thing.]

hmm, this sounds kinda like something 
purplekecleon does, though i believe she usually does it in hour and a half long slots :3
some suggestions i have (not that i've ever done something like this, but from my viewpoint, they might help):
possibly offer slots with different amounts of time. most people on fa wouldn't be able to afford to hire an artist for 10-12 hours, but possibly could for say, 2-3. i'd suggest offering a few different amounts of time (i.e. 2, 4, and 8 hours spots), so that there would be a higher amount of people who could afford to bid, but also the people who wanted longer amounts of time could, too.
maybe have 'clean' and 'adult' ones, and have the adult ones with a higher starting price? i haven't seen that done for something like this, but i think it could work, and the adult ones would probably catch more interest.

I was thinking about offering them starting as auctions, $50 to start for the whole 10-12 hours and see what people thought it was worth to them from there.
However, after my move and I'm settled in, I do want to offer some kind of regular hourly rate options, with shorter amounts of time available. it's just not something I can offer right now, with everything else I have to juggle before the move.. I'd rather offer a small # of big slots and see what happens for now.
I don't want to separate adult from clean price options. I've seen other artists do it, and I can't fathom why :S I can draw either just as easily, and honestly, nude characters are easier for me. If anything, I should charge a clothing fee xD (I won't tho, that's silly ;3 )
