Hey guys I’m back, sorry for not posting much artworks here over the past week or so, as I have been dealing with a rather terrible thing that happened to me recently, as I have fell for a nasty scam last Saturday evening which cost me a lot of money 😔 the scammer contacted me claiming to be a family member of mine such as my dad, and he wanted some money from me to help pay for a new mobile phone that he has lost.

I literally thought the scammer was my dad in trouble, and I completely fell for his trick 😔 he then had me on the phone for 3 hours texting him constantly saying he wanted more money to pay for a few additional things, which I said no! After paying him a sum of £600, the bank then locked / froze any additional payments to the scammer, as the bank knew this was a fraudulent transaction which could have emptied my entire account!

Eventually I gave up on paying him more money, and told him it’s getting late, then he said we will try again tomorrow, I then replied saying no that’s enough! The next day he rung me 12 times whilst I was at work on Sunday, and still wanting money from me, I eventually told my mother about this and she was very upset and annoyed this happened Saturday night, I should have told her on the night when it was happening, we rung my bank to get this mess sorted out, as my account might have been compromised.

Luckily we got in touch with a fraudulent specialist who could help us freeze my account, so that the scammer couldn’t take any more money from my account, and he kindly offered to say that the bank would repay me back the money I lost to the scammer, he also said that I would be issued a new bank card later on this week

So this has been another big learning experience / curve in my life when it comes to money and finances, and I need to be more careful and on edge about protecting my money from scammers and fraudulent activity in future, this can happen to all of us if we’re not careful enough

The scammer literally took advantage of me and my finances, and exploited my vulnerability with money too, I also have Autism which makes me even more vulnerable to these types of fraudulent situations 😔

Hopefully this won’t happen to me again in future, but I am prepared in case it does happen again 💪🐇 and I hope you guys will learn of my experience too, if anything bad has happened in your lives involving scams and fraudulent activity, and how to prevent it happening again in future, and also to track down and bring these horrible deceitful people to justice!
