I've always liked your Celestia conspiracy theories, and I like getting to completely unspool Twilight! She's such a diligent student & so PROUD of it, it can be grating that she never has to experience a real pitfall of it all ...
she unravels over such mild circumstances in canon and the concept of like, failure to her master,
but imagine if serving the master at all was a kind of failure. Isn't blind trust in authority figures a total intellectual flop? Surely you've read BOOKS on this, Twilight.......

I like the visual of a manic vampire batpony foil to take her on such an adventure~ like, the antithesis to the persona Twilight's cultivated, but ultimately this rat was allowed a similar position of utility. So that's already like, a lot to process.

I wonder what Luna's position on all of this is too....

even if she enjoys her life and is proud of what she's done how do you deal with knowing your entire life--generations of lives before yours--were constructed and manipulated? that when you sang "I want to be a part of the plan" on the castle balcony celestia was hiding it from you, smiling at you the entire time, knowing the "plan" was she was going to retire soon and foist all of equestria onto this pony she raised from foalhood for this single purpose?

also don't you think it's fucked up luna, after like, a few years of coming back and finally getting the recognition and love she always wanted from her subjects... decides it's time to retire, too?

do you think maybe after 1000 years of missing her sister maybe celestia forced luna into retirement because luna's the prize she worked 1000 years to recover and she wants to enjoy it???

while non-ferals are fun now n again I do always feel a bit like they are 4 (or more) broomsticks attached to a flour sack base... somehow manipulating the feral body is so much funner. Especially for something with such a vast and expressive wrist like a horse! Pointing your HOOF or WRIST at someone, bowing on HOOF or WRIST or entire leg folded completely? In your theory of the world I would assume that Celestia ALLOWED or ENCOURAGED the celebration of Nightmare Night or whatever, a holiday which fully demonized her sister into a boogeyman, in order for Luna's return to equestria to mean her fully properly alienated & isolated from society. I can never understand why the great GodQueen allowed everyone to turn her sister's tragic story into a HOLIDAY, some sort of FNAF app for foals to jumpscare each other, but it all makes sense if Celestia feels her sister is her property & doesn't want her pursuing any meaningful personhood or entire life back on equestrian soil. Only grateful for sister forgiveness.....

kinda funny tho if Twilight inadvertently kinda helps with her friendship lessons to like, ingratiate Luna back into society, more than Celestia planned, but really, how much influence could that have on someone really experiencing so many years and such an extent of isolation...? I think Celestia's influence just wins out........... as it always does. hmm...

like, why did the princess who rules equestria have a school for unicorns that she personally taught? obviously she was trying to create a replacement which ended up being twilight

she didn't FORCE them to BREED but she DID arrange the situation most likely to cause her desires to happen

oh look all the other mane 6 come from around ponyville, a POTEMKIN VILLAGE celestia probably founded and manipulated over centuries to ensure it produced ponies likely to embody the elements. by focusing her generational memetic cultivation in ponyville she can maximize output while minimizing external variables and even if it's ponies who come to live in ponyville LATER, they'l still be affected by the memetic structures she's used ponyville to create

because manehattan still is like NYC you know? ponies there aren't likely to produce the elements. all the mane 6 minus twilight are either FROM ponvyille or have spent a large amount of their lives LIVING there

it isn't like c-less is EVILY setting it up but she REALLY is

i absolutely think it was done for SEVERAL reasons to make nightmare moon into this. some of it was just to make it into a myth because it was important for twilight to "accidentally" discover it and not be believed because it was her first test of leadership to lead ponies against what turns out was just like the boogiemare in-world. by doing this it also means that the first pony luna can come to after being rescued HAS to be celestia. it gives celestia the maximum amount of time to frontload manipulation into luna until she's confident enough to go out into the world and redefine herself--but only after celestia has been given a chance to socialize her and reset her own sense of self first

which isn't even evil by necessity because luna WAS dangerous and celestia DOES need to make sure she can trust and control luna!!

this all sounds like the talk of someone still struggling with sychophantic impulses of justification from years under Big Celestia......

if all of this is manipulated, who is to say those dangers she allegedly must contain & control are not of her own creation or fostering, somehow? How responsible was she early on in her rule, as a sister? How early was that rule EVEN??? how deep does it go? so Luna must be subjugated and beguiled as she's a force too risky to be trusted with uninterrupted autonomy or will ...................... says who ? the only firsthand source we have on their history, CELESTIA?????? Can we get some more perspectives, ARE there more perspectives?? We live in a history written by the winners and the winner is only celestia .... this is not journalistic investigation ... I can't engage on the level of her own narrative. this reality she's invented is only the real one insofar as it is believed ... IIII don't know if it's justifiable ...

Well, I'm curious how Crimson & Twilight's perspectives or emotional journeys would differ when dealing with the informations. Both might be fraught in their own ways, or struggle with levels of justification, or acceptance, and maybe not even in a linear way. I would like to see more myself (: personally.

right now i'm stuck on if i think it would be more interesting to have crimson and twilight meet before celestia abdicates, so that it can build to a confrontation with celestia and deal with the mane 6 and cadance and shining armor ALL realizing their lives have been orchestrated and being able to HAVE that catharsis,

or if it's more poignant if twilight only figures this out after it's all far, far too late

the first one lends itself to much more narrative Things Going On but the other has a sort of inability to get a conclusive answer and the frustration of life
