Here's a proper diagram of the part of the Red Zone at the Automated Restraint Center!

The thing with the tubes is so that none of the robot arms have to stick into the pod to get the prisoner hooked up. Yes, the tubing slips between the inflated portions and back out, but hopefully the design with the "collar" around the tubes between the padding rubber (red) and the tubes makes it so that it presses in to the tubes rather than out into the air. Point is, I know it is questionable having sliding, non fixed tubes sliding between areas of high and low pressure, but I figure that can be tested in prototyping. If worst comes to worst, the tubes' "collar" can become a sleeve completely isolating the tubing from the pressure zones, but doing that might restrict how much those parts can inflate.

Padding can either be inflated with air for a softer feel or inflated with a light oil for maximum restriction and immobilization! (Using a low density oil so that it doesn't add too much weight to the whole system.)

One thing not mentioned before: Periodically the forklift goes to each pod and rotates it 30° or 60° at intervals throughout the day to prevent the prisoners from developing pressure sores. This is kind of inefficient, but if I were to make them rotate in place I would have to sacrifice the compactness and stickability of the whole setup. The rotation schedule will never have it rotate the pod more than 180° in either direction, so the plugs in back wont need to be unplugged/replugged very often.

Also, the pink tube (which isn't on the legend in the drawing) is the wash tube, labeled "clean" to avoid confusing it with "water". This tube is connected directly to the sleepsack just behind the neck at upper back, and will cause it to fill up with slightly soapy then fresh water to clean and rinse the prisoner, followed by pressurized air for drying. Hair/fur/scales/dead skin cells are flushed away through yellow waste tube. Then the pink tube sucks away any remaining fluid from the pipes and re-vacuums the sacks.
During this process, the surrounding padding is deflated slightly to allow room for everything to flow. This is the one time of day when they get a chance to move their limbs slightly and stretch just a tiny bit. If their arms are crossed, they'll have just enough room to switch which arm is on top before washing is through.

Prisoners' cocks are by default tucked between their legs pointing down, held in a thin rubber cock sleeve with tube leading to down to the waste tube.

For female prisoners, I don't know. Maybe a little cup that goes over their 'ginas and that leads to waste or something like that.

Both genders have double-balloon enema catheters up their asses at all times, this is also connected to waste.

And yes, there's a coupe of robot arms on a track behind the stacks, but its not important since I want to move on to other parts. Just know that even the connecting of tubes is automated!

I hope that all made sense!

I also need to write up a protocol on prepping prisoners for storage, since being stored like this for extend times requires extended preparation which could take months.
