Cpt. Hanes. C3-2740-40 Reporting in. We were ambushed again. We have taken casualties, and had a confirmed sighting of a Cultist nearby.

Sir, we were ambushed overtop an underground supply line. Anomalous occurance was similar to the previous. Attacked by the same hostile force.

We have 1 KIA. 3 wounded.

The Cultist appeared to be another C3 unit but disfigured and scarred. Possibly from incisions.

We are still mobile, but movement has slowed.

Description matches X0-C3-2736. A known rogue wielder that defected to the Cult late 2736 after she escaped her containment.

She is a prototype wielder. Her file notes a 'compromised mental state' after her procedures. Not uncommon for prototypes. Be careful if you encounter her again.

As for your squad, we will make arrangements with our contacts at the 'Nest'
