Sir, we were ambushed. On the route to the Foundry, our squad encountered some form of anomaly. The sky went black. The landscape raised up, and a green eclipse formed out of the parting clouds.

We were attacked by a large number of unknown hostiles, consumed by green energy. We escaped, but not without casualties.

Methods are in line with the Cult. We've previously received reports of cult activity at the Maxwell Penitentiary late last year and a recent one within the Iron Valleys only a few weeks ago.

I suggest you make haste to the Foundry and relay your findings to Sgt. Connors upon your arrival.

If you encounter this Cult again, report your findings to me immediately.
