Day 214 - May 6th, 2741
We are only a few days out from the Nest, and I felt a faint 'pulse' in the distance. Something that my stone picked up. Then another, then another. Then a massive exertion of a secondary energy source. Without question, this was 40, and she just encountered something that made her go all out. If what we saw at that transportation network, it might be our pursuer.
Brick and I changed course and ran over as fast as we could. As we did, I felt the energy getting stronger. We stayed on the high-ground to get vantage point, thats when we saw it. It was like what happened to me in the Iron Valley. An impossibly black cage over the landscape. Inside, I could faintly sense 40. In a battle for her life.
It's terrifying, seeing this from an outside perspective.
