Day 207 - April 29th, 2741

Slept rather well last night. Once the fire faded and everything settled down we got some rest. Twitch wasn't letting me out of sight, though maybe because this whole ordeal has probably hit her the hardest. I guess she was afraid of losing me again. Maybe she knew what was about to come in the morning.

Rose may be gone, but I still had another problem. The one that brought me all this way in the first place, my 'sibling' 40. She is still out there, somewhere on the way to the Nest. Brick might've offered me a proper position within their ranks, but I have my own mission. Brick understood, Twitch... sort of. She cried, and cried a lot, giving me another massive hug and refusing to let me go, until Wrench managed to calm her down and pulled her back.

But as I was ready to say my goodbye's to everyone, Brick spoke. He ordered the rest of the crew to remain, waiting for the extraction and placing Wrench in charge. But for Brick himself? He wanted to aid my mission to find 40. That took me by surprise. Confused I asked why, and he said it was to repay a debt. I saved him, and possibly the rest of the crew indirectly. The least he could do was help me in turn. Twitch pleaded to go along as well, but Brick wouldn't allow it.

So after a bittersweet reunion just hours ago, now we have to say our goodbyes. Hoping to see each other one day, and under better circumstances. But I suppose only time will tell. Farewell.
