Psych here's more general-rated content.
I've tried to avoid collecting manga because One Piece was enough for me, but I thought that it wouldn't hurt to read through Beastars while waiting for the new season to come out (I still haven't watched it, oops). I generally enjoyed the experience, though I did notice how things got messy in the last act. I've heard plenty about how Paru Itagaki got pressured into putting more action in the series so it could be more shonen-y, and after reading Beast Complex it's really apparent how she was in this more for the slice of life and character drama than anything else. I didn't entirely like the whole final tournament arc climax but I did think that the ultimate resolution of the series was appropriate. It's not a big grandiose conclusion and the characters don't get everything they want, but that's the way things go with societal change, for as much as they have accomplished in bettering their world there is still much more that needs to be done. It's small steps, but it's progress.
And I know you're disappointed that Louis followed through with his arranged marriage instead of staying with Juno but we all know that the true endgame would have been Legoshi, Louis, Haru, and Juno all in one big polycule of social awkwardness.
None of that's really relevant. I just thought it would be interesting to write out how Juno and Azuki might interact with each other after the events of the series. Unstoppable force meets immovable object.

Imagining Louis standing in the doorway in That One Louis Pose. You know the one.
Is this the most "typical" fanfiction I've ever written?
