He held her with his hands after embracing her, gently supporting her lower back and part of her belly, held in place by her overalls.
She smiled, and her cheeks, at the slight and immediate surprise of the cat's gesture, took on a faint blush. Her breathing hitched slightly, but she immediately recovered after a deep inhalation, closing her eyes, enjoying the closeness with the feline. And finally, after a few brief moments, she acted, turning slightly closer to him and facing him.
With a warm gaze, she raised her hands to his face and leaned toward the cat until their lips connected in a deep kiss.
His heart skipped a beat, surprised by the gesture of love, reciprocated beyond expected measure. However, he couldn't help but close his eyes as his breathing quickened along with the beating of his heart, combined with hers. For a moment when neither of them paid attention, they seemed to be synchronized in unison, yet that was irrelevant.
He held her against his body. She kept his face pressed against hers.
They both didn't want to miss a moment of each other.
