So sweet! Is it a she or a he? looks more like a she :P how old? ^^

i got too two sweethearts, chromatopelma ♀ 3, brachypelma smithi ♀ 5 ^^ I luv em so i bough em a 60x60x40 tank :D

Its a she ^^ and im not sure how old. She is adult female and i only got her today lol

orly? my smithi is pretty cool, doesnt hate it to walk on my hand, but allways turn around at other hands. do you think a spider will "know" your skin smell after a while?

I have had mine for about 7 years now, somtimes she dosent mind being handled but if shes in a bad mood i leave her be XD
Shes certainly not the nicest spider in my collection.

In my experience i have found the mexican species to be pretty intelligent.
I wouldnt say they smell it exactly, maybe more sense it.

I have to say my smithi is pretty smart either. in the begin i've planted something near her lair (?) how ever she hated that planz so she unburrowed it completly and took it away :D

Wow she is beautiful :) ur lucky i cant seem to find a healthy female skeleton, they are always wild caught, or damaged >.<

Well tbh i thought this one looked a bit tatty but once she molts the colours will be alot more striking ^^

probably fairly young, they become adults at early ages? I'm just looking at the bulb though, it could be that she just needs a good feeding.

Well this tarantula is native to south america there for they are fast growing. It takes 10 or so years for an adult female to mature and the male maybe less.

American species are known to be much faster growing and maturing than all the rest wich in a way is ashame cuz it gives them a shorter lifespan.

I will feed her when she settles in her new home but its up to her how much she eats ^^

of course, she is very cute.
