I always loved seeing tarantula's (tarantuli?) lol, eat, i liked watching my little one eat crickets because she would nomnomnom, and as she ate she would tap with her spinnerets and then she would turn around and tap the cricket on it to collect the pieces that were coming off into a little ball, she was very tidy in this matter, wrapping up the exoskeleton of every cricket she ate. X3 cricketballs are so much easier to clean!
Are mealworms your staple of choice, or crickets? I heard that mealworms can be too fatty, but they seem a lot easier to breed if you have a large collection.
And why do they make cricket balls? o.o! My little white knee did that the other day. I gave it a dozen really tiny crickets and it ate all of them, then formed a ball with the bodies, which has since also disappeared somehow.
