Cool, at times these models anoy me. you see a cool mech and think its a rip from Robotech, then you remember Robotech is a spin-off from Battletech like mech warrior. (geegky moment over)
Great model, the colours and highlighting shades blend together soo well. just wish i could do that for my Warhammer models :)

Just like Macross's Gluag is the unseen Marauder or the Destroid Tomahawk is the Warhammer. Hehe...actually...the unseens are taken from Macross/Robotech (I'm more of a Macross purist, though), Dougram (think unseen Battlemaster and Thunderbolt), etc.
If you really want to see oddball designs, check out the lineart for hte early runs of the second-line Clan BattleMechs (especially the Phoenix Hawk IIC 1 and 2).

Hehe...he's pretty lucky to have a figure of an unseen; those can go for quite alot.
Personally though, that's a very good job with the mini; I have a hard enough time just doing the 1/100th scale pilots for my MG Gunpla...I dunno if I could pull off a job like that, though. :) Keep up the good work...I might see if you can do commishes on BT miniatures as I've been wanting someone to custom paint a piece or two.

Thankies ^^
Well, I've done commission work on miniatures a while.. but I think I had been way too cheap. On the other hand, I didn#t want to rip somebody off so.. meh... I stopped commis.
This little bugger mech was painted for a dear friend of mine as a gift for that he had done for me. But honestly, the old unseen sculpts are bad quality sometimes and the very soft metal does not exactly help.
I'm happy with the result, but so about the 5-6cm in height the paintjob was a bit basic.

Ah, hehe...welp, I was thinkin' more about one of the Iron Wind minis if I ever had one done (a Hauptmann or a Vulture Mk IV if they've gone further into Dark Age minis). Heck, first time I was going to get a custom paint job, I was going to offer a nice bunch of N-scale Osirii (the scale used for Dark Age and Age of Destruction minis)...the darn site went down before I could complete that work, though.
I'd personally need more practice with an actual paintbrush before I ever tried one, though. *shrugs*
