Akazuki-chan is a Survey Corps member who was sent to investigate an undiscovered region of Hisui, only to encounter the ghost warden, Maigo-kun, a boy who was killed in Hisui recently and resurrected to find his murderer while taking the responsibility of his second chance at life protecting a new Noble of the Hisuian Region. With her wanting to solve his murder and him aiding her knowledge of the new region, they both get into misadventures.
