I know the song is originally just about a guy whose girlfriend turns into a werewolf once a month, when the moon is full (as an allegory to the period); but I couldn't help but feel that it's kinda... relatable? I mean, bleeding is tough for everyone, but when you're a trans guy it can be even harder, making you question your masculinity as your body goes through something that's so inherently linked to the female body. Or well, at least that's how I feel. So, with time I've come up with different ways of thinking about my period that make it feel more "badass", or at least to take it a bit more lightly. So yeah, I guess you can tell why I like the werewolf analogy :p
(That kinda reminds me of the time I was watching "An American werewolf in London" with a friend, and on the transformation scene he joked the guy was going through a testosterone transformation xD)
Drawing this made me feel better as I was suffering from "the curse". So I could say this is vent art... but also it's fan art, because I really like Harley Poe, and especially the album that this song is from.
PS: I wasn't really sure if I was supposed to give this a "mature" rating, since there aren't any "bits" to be seen, only fur with blood. Also, I have seen a lot of posts with "general" ratings that don't seem very SFW either. Anyways, if there are people saying I should mark this as "mature", I might change the rating later.

Thank you so much, mate. Although now I'm more confident about my art, sometimes I still doubt if this is all worth the struggle, so the nice words like yours are very important to me.
I agree, I think the most important function of art is self-expression, and the capacity to communicate and connect with other people. That's why I'm interested in outsider art, and I'm happy that I'll be able to do a research work about that topic on my art school :)
