What if you do the mouth as genetic sexual dymorphisim. Small mouth females and tusks for males? The males can have them bigger and use them for fights?

hmmm. that is a possibility. I was thinking of pairs rubbing the cheek spikes together as a bonding activity but males could def use them for display as well, perhaps some type of fight too as you sugested. considering their arms and front paws being very long and huge, one would think that would be their means of fighting one another but tusk jousting could be a less destructive way.

I admit i never played palworld so i don't know much as i have a special needs son that takes alot of time. But also my brain holds random info on many things so hence the suggestion lol

It is a fun game if you have moments to put into it. The creatures in it though sadly dont display any behaviour other than walking around and sleeping. they do have various animations related to combat and work tasks but you dont see them "live" and interact with one another, which is a shame. Cryolinx do usually wander around in groups of 2 though so that is a little somehting.

Bonded pairs? Or maybe like swans and penguins the Gay Cryolinx are out looking for babies to abduct and raise lol ;)
