Leader Bastian Michaelis (Team Blazeblue) + The Limitbreaker
ORIGINAL LUCARIO/LUCARIO SPRITE BY _kuke_ ON FUSIONDEX.ORG + LIMITBREAKER SPRITE BY MEEver since Team Blazeblue formed, Bastian found himself interacting alot with certain members of Guild Voltaire (since they're based in the same village, it's hard to avoid it, especially since Blazeblue begun as a subsidiary team) and that lead Bastian to becoming acquainted with one Tilla Torque. Obviously since she was the one to rebuild the bodies of two Regis into their own Regiruby, she had a knack for tinkering, and the ever self-improvement obsessed Bastian chose to take after her.
Tilla initially handed him the Limitbreaker Prototype not long after the prevention of the Planet's Paralysis in the past, though since Bastian was still a Riolu by the time he'd returned to the living he couldn't use it efficiently. This lead to him working on it until he evolved, leading to it eventually becoming the full Limitbreaker as shown here!
This "sword" is more of a bludgeoning weapon, though it can split down the middle in order to function as an aura-amplifier and railcannon. Since Bastian is an adept aura user, I think you can figure how that could lead to him being absolutely cracked at combat with this thing on his hips. Also, with the help of the divas that are Ruben Harley, Enzo Amoroso and Axel Cristallo, he also fashions himself a completely new coat.
Also, of course, he's now the bonafide leader of Team Blazeblue, Charm electing to allow him to lead as a sort of thank you for his sacrifice in killing Yaldabaoth (no not that one) in order to prevent the Eternal Darkness. This was also largely because of one Gaile Breizi joining their group and adding a much-needed amount of critical thinking to the two's exploration.
Stylish, powerful, smart, and a hero. That's Bastian, and unlike a certain version of him from the universe that we know, he has a bright future ahead of him.
