It was a sunny day when Charlie decided to take a little stroll through the park. Normally, on a nice weekend like this, something bizarre would've happened to her, but nothing seemed to be amiss. Suddenly, out of nowhere, a foggy mist began rolling through the trees until she could barely see the sky. Within minutes, she was no longer in a sunny park, but in an eerie forest. The park was now completely unfamiliar to her, it was as if she was in a completely different place. At this point, she decided it would best to go back, given that it looked like it could rain at any moment. But then, she heard what sounded like a faint squeak from up ahead. Looking at the fog ahead, she saw a large, ominous silhouette approaching her, the squeaking growing louder the closer it came. Frightened, Charlie began to step back, but the figure continued to advance until the fog seemed to part around it, slowly giving her a glimpse of its form.

Its lime skin appeared to gleam polished porcelain, its form towering above her like a statue, limbs puffy and rounded, its expression endearing, but mischievous.

Charlie's breath hitched as her heart beat in her chest. It was another pool toy, one with a deer-like appearance with oddly shaped antlers and puffy green hair; It had a striking resemblance to a creature she had read about on the Internet. Charlie knew she should have run at that moment, but she found herself frozen in shock as the creature stepped towards her. Its playful eyes narrowed at her, parting its lips into a little smile as it began blowing a small blue bubble from its lips. At first, the inflation was slow, but it quickly puffed up to the size of a beach ball as it began floating in the air. But then, the creature blew another bubble, then another, and another, until they were six of those orbs hovering in front of the giant inflatable.

Charlie's fear had given way to curiosity; she knew better than to stick around a living pool toy, but against her better judgment, she wanted to know what it was doing. Suddenly, all of the bubbles huddled together, each forming a tube that connected to one another until it formed a ring. Then, the ring began to expand, extending about 6 feet in diameter, as a strange watery film swirled within it. The orbs had formed what appeared to be some kind of large bubble wand. It was at that moment that Charlie finally realized what it was trying to do, not wasting another moment as she bolted in the opposite direction.

The giant toy just smiled, taking the ring into its puffy hooves before nudging it forward. With that, the ring began to pursue her, closing the distance between them as if being pulled by an unseen force.

Charlie only had enough time to look behind her before the ring was right on top of her…
