A golden eagle in pencil, WIP.
I haven't figured out how to use the scanner, so all you get is a crappy photo of a pencil drawing. Lol. Lame, right? It blurred it and changed the color ridiculously. That paper is actually crisp white. Ahaha. >_>
Just a quickie to gear up for a big 11''x14'' portrait for my cousin's wedding gift. I'll be doing more of these for a little while to get back into the hang of drawing and work out the rust.
Drawn on plain ole' (8.5''x11'') computer printer paper, with a 0.7mm mechanical pencil. Freehanded, NOT traced, though I did reference a number of pictures of golden eagles.
Note that the wing isn't finished...is in fact barely started...but yeh, there ya have it.
This one is going to my grandma to hang on her walls (she claimed it as soon as she saw me working on it, lol) but I'll probably be selling a few of these.
If you want one, get a ref pic ready, FERAL ANIMAL ONLY, and have $20 ready to pay with. Birds preferred, can do others though.
For an idea of a time frame...this one was begun last night, and will probably be done tonight. Maybe 1-3 hours total spent on it; I'm a lazy artist, lol.
Anyways, if you do want one, post here or PM me about it. I'd mail the original to you to do with whatever you want (except make prints of it and sell them, or something. Lol.)
