Fun fact (re: this), Reese wasn't initially meant to be glass-bodied when I first made them. They started as just a bendy/stretchy/squishy fella; overall jellyfish-like.
They're still that, but then I learned that Nihilego (the "jellyfish" half) were made of "flexible glass" (source) a TON of stuff just clicked together instantly. It just Works.
(and I agree, the now-transparent bits are super fun to play around with ^^)
