Hey guys!
It's been about time I get to draw this absolutely epic eeveelution - Umbreon, one of my personal favourites. It needed its own seperate illustration just like Jolteon, Flareon and Vaporeon before it and I decided to make its prompt/additional object glow sticks!
Umbreon is a Dark type Pokémon that has its bright glowing rings as a special design feature, so I wanted to build upon that and emphasize this glow with some additional glowsticks that you would find at rave parties, making it look like it's dancing and enjoying party festivities! I enjoyed making it look dynamic and happy in this piece while also trying to give its fur a very fluffy look, however creating the light effects and shading on the glowsticks and rings surely was challenging. It's not a masterpiece but one I'm still proud of and enjoy the outcome of due to all the time and hard work that went into it! What do you think? Would you take your Umbreon to a rave party?
