Toy Maker is a collector of only the 'finest' most 'fun' toys for his collection. One day Toymaker stumbled across a individual by the name of Jack Pikeman being thrown out of a casino, upon asking what the fellow's problem was he confessed of how he had ruined both his life and the lives of all those around him. He had won a casino game 3 years ago collecting a net total of fifty million and he had become hooked on the idea of winning more money, enough so that within 2 yeas he had gambled away all of his won cash. when that money ran out he stole from his work to earn more money but was caught and fired, he then mortgaged his family's home without telling his family and subsequently lost it. Eventually his family found out about his addiction but before they could confront him for his actions they were killed by loan sharks as a threat for not paying them back. Despite all that he was still gambling still trying to salvage his wealth and the thrill he had from winning so long ago.

Toy Maker with delight upon hearing Jack's story decided to add him to his collection transforming him into a Joker playing card to add to his collection. Jack the gambling fool now resides on Toy Maker's island where after being discarded by Toy Maker he now lives in the Toy town territory of discarded games where he runs a casino from the inside of a flipped over billiard table.
