Steve Gallacci threw down the gauntlet and inspired this cartoon dating back to my days in Huzzah! We got to joking about which plastic scale model aircraft were the biggest, and we both agreed a 1/72nd scale B-52 Bomber was pretty huge. I decided to go a bit further and drew Mr. Foxy showing off a 1 inch equals one inch scale "Cherokee" Hydrogen bomb model.

I stil like the Simpsons episode where there's a deactivated bomb or something, and Homer jumps on top of it to "ride" it, snapped out of his daydream by an attendant clearing his throat and pointing to a sign reading "Please do not ride the bomb."
I remember watching the movie once, but I was young and didn't pay attention. So I don't know anything but the title and the scene at the end, where he had climbed up to get the bomb to drop. Lousy automatic releases...

Heh, loved model stuff when I was a kid, last one I did was..I think a 1/72 scale Russian Hokum "Werewolf" of a dual rotor attack heli. Love the picture :) though I've been doing model games rather then straight up models (Seen how Expensive they Got?!) I've always wanted to do those Huge ships with the low scale numbers ^_^
Oh god Awesome sauce! I just saw that movie recently.
The wheelchair fur made me laugh XD
I actually looked at this about an hour ago and had to leave. Funniest thing was as soon as I walked outside a large USAF bomber flew low overhead. Looked like a bulkier B-52 with shorter wings. ( I couldn't properly identify it, though. I know little to nothing about military planes) Talk about coincidental irony XD
