This a finecast model I painted up for a local GW painting contest for fine cast only models. I am proud to say I won first place.

I been playing since 2nd edition, while Squats existed and Before Battle Sisters came out. But I finally got a paint level were I figured I can try to make the hobby pay of itself. There some models I really just want to paint for fun, but do not want to do army of.

The Local GW knows I am doing this. They are the one encouraging me to do so. IE I make money painting models and saleing. They make more by me spending the money right back on them

finecasts don't seem to have as much detail as the metals...

They have more detail. You really should see them side by side. The detail pops out more. In fact I seen detail on finecast models that I did not see on pewter.

i dunno i still prefer metal ones there was always that feel about them, and they are much easier to customise than resin especially when you know how to work with metal ^_^;

I find Resin far more easier to convert and customize, but each there own.

Thanks I wish the picture was little better quality though. As with most the model looks better in person then on camera. I think I might have gotten to close with the camera.

Yeah the bright flash would mess with subtleties with the paint.

But i can still see its a good job!!
