We are unlikely to get a grid picture of Season 5, as we moved to F1 24 which turned out to be much better for me in terms of performace (despite on wheel and only using ABS for assists) to where I finished 11th in a championship of 26 people, but most began to drop out as they did not like the game; my best results were again in Jeddah and Montréal, despite only qualitying 9th and finishing 8th in both as opposed to my 6th and 5th in Season 4, but scored more points that previous seasons (17, verses 10 and 11 in the previous two seasons) and was comfortably fastest of the back-markers or just behind the mid-pack, as opposed to struggling to keep up and not be taken out by other drivers...

The season was cut short at only 2/3rd length and the league voted to go back to F1 23 for Season 6 were I am the slowest driver once again because those on my skill level left for various reasons, there had been multiple connection issues ever race, I had severe force-feedback issues, and my own inability to adapt back to the slow understeery mechanics of the old game all quickly made me loose interest and motivation, retiring 2/3rds into the season. This can especially when the two races I felt I was doing exceptionally well at (Singapore and Portimao) was hit by multiple issues forcing me to conceede everything to the back or retire. These combined with my final race at Monza where I was taken out by the NPC Safety Car were exceptionally soul crushing for me...

I've never played a game that made me feel so broken; so much so that I just cried after Portugal, and then again that evening, and then again as I tried to sleep... (As I write this now, I'm beginning to to hate this picture as it just represents F1 23 for me and my failures...)

If F1 25 is any good and we move onto it, I will likely return; but if we stay on F1 23 (which is no longer avaliable to purchase) than I will likely just commentate on it when I feel like it.
