How did Mors die? D:

Party went to fight a mini boss. There was a construct with a bomb inside of it. Mors accidentally got stuck in the ground when he tried to do something cocky. When the party defeated the construct, it started beeping and they had to leave but seeing as Mors was going to die, Malik told him he wasn't going to let him die alone, after Malik said that, the rest of the party agreed. If 1 dies, we all die together as a family kinda thing. It was a planned death by the player cuz he wanted to switch character. Our dm panicked since he didn't want a TPK (total party kill) so he brought his godsona in the scene and teleported everyone out besides Mors :T was a pretty shit game honestly but Scarlet managed to find Mors' skull after the explosion and now Malik wears it to have Mors continue on with him. The skull can actually let Mors talk to Malik if the player chooses to do so along with other lil perks~

Yea... probably was a better way to handle that than literal (non-player cleric prompted) divine intervention, but I get that it's hard to think in the heat of the moment for things like that. The skull is neat though! Who did the player replace Mors with? Magnolia?

yeaahhh but oh well. the player had told me super early on that he wasn't enjoying playing as Mors and was already planning on changing him which like, super fine but once he mentioned wanting to replace this super unique character like Mors for literally Phoenix Wright from the ace attorney games, it really left a sour taste in everyone's mouths so sadly, he's now Nick Wright (guy on far right in this pic). I was pretty upset with this change but it's alright. either way, he plays his characters really interestingly so i'm excited for when he comes back from his break if he does so malik can be real nasty to this new guy >:3
