Phase 2 - Do something Twitch would be proud of. Big guns, big explosions, lots of chaos. Brick pulled out an improvised energy hand-cannon of sorts, courtesy of Wrench's inginuity. It was a one-time use device, but it was good enough for us. He charged up a massive amount of energy and shot it towards the door. It blew the door open and threw the guards outside the gate to the floor. With his machinegun in hand, Brick quickly made work of 3 guards. I used my shotgun to take out the 4th. It may not penetrate armor like Brick's gun, but the pellet spread can ensure I get in between gaps of the armor. With them cleared out, we stormed through the gate.

As predicted, it was a storage facility of sorts with another door that I could feel with my stone was the barrier to the Void. But it was locked, and no explosive we had could break through that thing. Though for some good luck for us, the goods were combustible, and now on fire from the blast. In the chaos, the workers scattered, and the guards dashed for cover in preparation for a fight. And a fight we gave. Our armor took a few hits on the way to solid cover, glancing blows, so they just bounced off. Good thing I got this new armor or my counter for bullet wounds would now be at 3, and I'd probably be dead.

Now entrenched for a fight, I let Brick do most of the shooting while I used my stone to track the guards and provide support. First started with movements ensuring nobody was flanking us, but then I realized I could pick up on the faint sounds when they reloaded their guns.

So when hearing an opening, we advanced closer to one guard to isolate them, laying down supressive fire to keep the ones with loaded guns at bay. And when we got close enough, we waited for them to reload again before striking. We did this twice before the remaining two became wise to it and bunched together for protection. Now was my time to shine.
