It’s pretty clear by the direction of their eyes that they were gonna use em on the pizza. But we don’t wanna upset the clientele of this caliber do we? The final product still looks great! 😁

tmnt needs you back so badly. idw is doing a terrible job zack snydering the tmnt universe, killing off characters because of cheap drama, and what they did to leatherhead and slash...man, mean spirited and cruel. a colossal waste of characters.

but hey, the saturday morning adventures comic, is very good. at least.

Oh gosh... I'm afraid to find out, as Leatherhead was always one of my favorites. I didn't even know IDW had the license.

Just out of curiosity Mike what's your opinion of the current state of comics and would you ever want to work for any of the major companies again?

Don't get me started on this. The comic book industry has been slowly killing itself for the last several decades, and the circulation has hit rock bottom. The licensed kid's comics that kept me busy for so many years no longer exist. There's now way to distribute independent comics anymore. The only thing left are gothic stupid heroes being published by WB/DC and Disney/Marvel as loss leaders for legal purposes. Or to put it in another fashion, it's deadsville, man.

That's pretty much what I thought you'd say. And you're absolutely right. It's all in a toilet bowl and the flush is getting worse. And sadly I don't see it getting any better in the foreseeable future. I hope you're getting some work cause not having you in a book or doing storyboards or something would be a true crime.

When I read your comment, I thought "How the hell could anyone think that?". Then I looked again, and realized Splinter was holding a slice of pizza, so, yeah, I could see it from their perspective. either way, a truly amazing piece of work!

Your run in the archie TMNT had some of my favorite art. I was so surprised when I found out you made Capt Jack, one of the first furry comics I discovered, after maybe a decade of owning both.
