History:
Brett LaRue was always interested in science ever since his hatching, being an albino he was victim of several medical issues throughout his youth. Discovering an avid interest in science as he grew up the gator channeled his isolation as an albino into his studies. As he grew into adulthood he also drifted father away from reality as well losing himself in science fiction novels and flights of fancy. This started to show up in his lab experiments as they began to grow stranger and weirder. After he graduated from collage with a doctorate (he is under a court order never to say which collage gave him a degree) in chemistry, genealogy, mechanics, particle physics, and culinary cooking. Brett had such a reputation as a crackpot that he couldn’t find any work. So plowing ahead he created LaRue Science Labs Inc. (Meddling in God’s domain since 1972) and became a self employed scientist. He has a number of patents out on several normal things, but he is most well known for the number of accidents that have plagued New Orleans from time to time. When the BOS act was written is when things really began to get out of hand in his lab. To date his headaches for the bos include,a 30 ft soda monster, a sentient fruit tree that wants to rule the world, a cold fusion device that made it snow in Orleans for two weeks straight, and as an added bonus tearing a hole in the fabric of space and time. Although the good doctor says that his experiments all have a legit purpose but it’s hard for people to see that when your home has been wrecked by a group of lemon marines. Dr. LaRue having grown tired of the constant limts put on his work, how he puts the court orders to never to do that again, decided to move to a city where the weird may be more accepted, Colmatron CA.

Fun Facts:
The Doctor has a robotic helper called Grammy, She/it is modeled after an old 1800’s steam engine. She was originally meant for a kids amusement park but when they backed out of the deal the Doctor didn’t have the heart to disassemble her/it. Her/it’s AI seems to be a bit wacky sometimes you could swear that Grammy is alive and other times she/it is just preprogramed responses. Grammy is also the Doctor’s main source of transportation being able to turn into a streetcar or helicopter.

Doctor LaRue also has a..pet. A real feral gryphon that he hatched from an egg he once discovered. Gummi ,the gryphon, is almost puppy like in mentality and will do anything for his favorite snack, gummy worms.
