Hello everycreature again! Here we are back with a new artwork! This time I wanted to draw something more romantic hehe... With one of my favorite couples of unicorns featuring Sunburst and Starlight.
In my road of learning and practicing drawing characters interacting between them here we are with another iteration. Two ponies laying down in the bed and snuggling together is not that hard, but can be tricky in certain parts. I consider that if you do it properly the result is really nice and definitely worth it. I had some troubles leaving the sketch exactly how wanted, but once it was possible the rest was simply and fluid, and I think the shadows add a lot of personality and depth to the drawing. It was a really fun one to do and I will probably do more romantic scenes in the future hehe.
In any case, at least they are wearing protection :P

D'aww! This is extra special adorable, Sweetie. Sunburst and Starlight are my favorite pairing / ship in MLP: FiM.

It seems like the two are taking some time to relax and forget about all the responsibilities that come with maintaining the School of Friendship. Perhaps the padding is to try and get back in touch with their time together when they were super close friends when they were foals? (I imagine that Starlight's father had a hard time wanting to allow his daughter to grow up. Sunburst's mom, probably, potty trained him super quick using a very strict method. However, Starlight was wanting to start potty training when her father was not yet ready to see his little foal grow into a young filly.).

There is a lot of reasons for Sunburst and Starlight to want to get back into some super-soft diapers. Being forced to grow up too fast, which would have been Sunburst's situation, would make him want to try and get back the childhood he felt he had been denied as a result of being pushed to do all sorts of grown-up things when he was still a young colt. Starlight, on the other hoof, would have a different kind of broken childhood after losing her best friend to his Cutie Mark. Starlight's time as a young filly was not fun and is certainly why she cannot ever get enough of playing Dragon Pit with any creature she can get to play it with her. The diapers for Starlight, coupled with a good game of Dragon Pit, would really get her into Little Space.

It would be interesting to know what these two would be talking about while enjoying such an intimate moment. There is no doubt that this would bring the two closer together while making some real progress towards healing the wounds of their broken childhoods.
