when designing Lindl i had to practice snakes. Though his in game ( beasts of bermuda ) model is very clearly based off a python I find the weird wedge head shape of vine snakes significantly cuter so based him off that! Ended up doing a shorter blunter version of this

i also forgot they have horizontal eyes. very interesting! he can be drawn with vertical or horizontal pupils but they are always square
