Heh, end up coming up during RP, alot of my characters are base off of stories and the like, that been going on since I was 9, that at least over 20 years of plot, working, and crafting. my first original work is the TIGER series, which now a days I get embarrass with some of it contents as some of the names seem a bit....well....
So any ways, best to dust off my creature files from way back then and chat about one of my still favorite race, the Drakonians. as the name suggest, they do bare alot of characteristic to dragon species, so I know alot of you will enjoy this....

Life Cycle:
Drakonians start off in eggs, hatch and in 16 years become adult like, their size range from 4-6 feet tall. though to them, this is at best, teen years, instead they only consider a child who awaken the Dragon Ancestor as an true adult.
The Darconic shape is actually their power taken shape, and been known to be any number of size from 20-40 feet tall to 80-130 feet tall at most. in rare cases, one can reach Dragon King Status, which can reach as high as 1-1.2 mile tall and stretch over a mountain range.
No matter their max size range, it should be note they still retain the ability to supress their power, allowing them to shrink down to any lesser size or even return back to their teen like form.

Hatcling:
ranging from 10 inch - 2 foot tall, they lack most ability, often consider animalistic at this state as they are prone to attack anything that smaller then them to eat. They lack the ability to feel fear, only gaining that ability once they become a bit more intelligent. they are born to be self reliant, able to hunt their own prey in second of hatching.

Teen:
They become more intelligent as they get older, and often times unlock their natural ability to rapidly heal and regenerate. Their tail store concentrated fats which allow them to burn energy accelerating their body ability to heal and regrow lost limbs and such. Some really old one can even regrow their head moment after it been removed.

Draconic shape:
This is their true shape, claim to possess so much power that in order to keep from being crush by their own power, they must suppress it in a smaller form. Though to them, it more of a spiritual side then ever considering the scientific side of it. Not only does suppressing the power does that, it also suppress the genetic cells, causing them to shrink down to preserve energy and power.

Nature:
They are are like dragon in many way, being a race of arrogant, pride and superiority, the different is, they are a war like race, often seeking new land and creature to challenge them in battle. Even their Waken the Dragon Ancestor rite is brutal, with the season warrors gather together to eat the arms, tail and legs off the Hatchling taken his rite of passage then tossing him down into the Blood of Dragon Father pit, where they must reach down to draw from their mystical power from within before they are either destroy by the lava, killed from bloodlost, hunted by the monster that dwell this pits, or killed by their own warrior as they will slaughter anyone not in Draconic shape that make it back up from the pits below.
As brutal as that sound, this is nothing compare to their Dragon Death Art, when an old warrior dragon reach the end of his life cycle, instead of living through the depressing and horrid state of decaying in age, they instead drink a special potion called the Bottle Life Breath. After that, they claw out their Heart, Their Eyes, Their tongue and their crystallize Chest bone. Often times they regrow their eyes back so this next part can be done with ease...
They start by giving one of their organs to one of their 'firends' they know
Heart: Stand for Bravery and Strength
Eyes: You wish them Insight for the future and to see their journey continue with their own eyes.
Tongue: To bless them to breath the hottest flames
Crystallize Chest Bone: a Teen size can use this to make armor, this is a mix blessing, as not only does the armor is capable of resisting even the sharpest claws, but it suggest out of all who need protection you need it most.

Once the organ is past around, they all head to his home, and feast on the organ save for the chest bone which he goes hungry, then the Friends fight the giver, 4 on one to the death. If he should die, he gain honor and his name added to the Song of the Dragon Call. How ever if he so happen to beat his friends, he can eat them and earn each of their lives to add to his own. Of course this is only if each one of them is as strong as you, so making friends with weakling will not help those who attempt to cheat death whom would by dishonor

Mate?:
The race is all male, there is no such thing as female, love, or anything of that sort, instead, only after surviving the Rite of Passage, and being able to enter their Draconic state, they are able to laid eggs, often times 2-6 at a time once ever 2 years. More powerful one can laid up to 4-8 and those who are really powerful can laid 12-30 eggs. These egg hatch within 8 month.


Natural Predator
a Race of Monsterious being called the Besignenslaughter race are known to eat their eggs. the Draconian often leave their eggs on a few planets, letting them be harvested or stolen or what ever, seeing if any survive, they earn their right to live.
