Ghost type Eeveelution I made for a contest over on serebiiforums. This is the first Pokemon sprite I have made completely from scratch and I like how it turned out. :3

Name: Morteon

Etymology: Mortir, French verb meaning "to die" + the eon suffix

Type: Ghost

Classification: Reaper

Ability: Pressure

PokeDex entry (A): The orbs that float around MORTEON's neck collect spirit energy from the atmosphere. It uses the energy for attacks and to wander back and forth through Earth and the afterlife.

PokeDex entry (B): Legends have it that MORTEON are the soul reapers of the Pokemon world, leading deceased Pokemon to the world beyond.

Evolution: The result of breeding a female Eevee or any of its evolutions with a male ghost Pokemon. A female Vaporeon and a male Gengar, for example. Make the male ghost type hold the item, "Spirit Orb" and leave the two in Daycare. The item will allow the two Pokemon who normally can't breed together, produce an egg. However, when the egg hatches, you will only get a normal Eevee, which can still evolve into any other of its evolutions. However, to obtain a Morteon, you need to take the Spirit Orb from its father and make the Eevee hold it. Train the Eevee in places such as Lavender Tower, Mt. Pyre, Lost Tower, Old Chateau, etc. The enviornment, combined with the Eevee's breeding and the held item will cause it to evolve after leveling up after a battle.
