Goodness, I hope I posted this in the proper section... I've never posted anything like this before. Plus I hope this image loads properly for you all. n///n
I didn't post this sooner here because I was extremely shy about sharing this sort of thing here...
I told my friend
Pervynamek02 aka DNLNamek01 that I would be making him a special present for him to give to him at Otakon 2011 this year and so I decided to create a sculpey charm of his TMNT OC, Edward~! And for those who don't know him - yes he is a turtle. XD
I showed this to my mom and she thought it was cute. XD
I thought it turned out pretty good even if the camera on my Nintendo DSi kind of sucked at the time. And yes that is my sexy hand holding the charm.
This charm was actually rather easy to make and also probably one of my more detailed ones, actually.
This is what I used for it:
- White Sculpey III Oven-Bake Clay (White I find best for painting on.)
- Folk Art & Apple Barrel brand acrylic paints (both brands are nice, but Folk Art is much nicer in my opinion.)
- Push pins (To help with smallest details like the eyes)
- Craft Smart 4pc. Variety Set - Camel Hair
- Sculpey gloss glaze (It's to protect the paint and to give the charm a beautiful shine!)
- Green craft wire (Heh heh, didn't need to paint over that since he is green!)
Well anyways
Pervynamek02 I hope you like this~!
