I've been meaning to redraw this piece for a while. Original was from 2022!
I think the biggest improvement would just be the anatomy, rendering, and design of the characters. Plus the scale of the drawing, having the birds be a more correct size, cause originally they were unintentionally gigantic lol. Also Ryvari got much larger so that made it more dramatic. In terms of the background improvement, yes and no? Like I'm happy with it but I was trying something different here compared to the original. Like I think it's an improvement for sure but its nothing totally wild. lol. Overall very happy with how this turned out!
Also man I have had so much stuff to post that most of it doesn't go actually public until over a month after it was finished.... The backlog is just pretty big right now haha.
