Highly recommend. I got used to it very quickly.
GIMP is okay for a free app, but if you are using a tablet, it is god awful.
I was actually using Sketchbook, which I actually loved, but my Surface Pro was giving me pen grief, and since my husband got a free iPad with his phone, I decided it was a good time to test out Procreate. Both Procreate and Sketchbook are great, but Procreate has better features and more realistic tools (like how the paint blends, for example).
