I don’t know whether or not to draw the sclera (white parts) of the eyes. It would be weird if the entire eye was the iris, but the version with the whites also looks a bit off. Also, is “irides” the plural of iris? I don’t remember.

I just thought the iris color thing was part of your style, didn't really bother me. Though I think the second one looks pretty good, experimenting more with the sclera wouldn't be bad once you get used to seeing it
