Playin around with ArtRage2, and tis pretty fun actually.
:) Fooled around, experimented for about 2 hours, and got myself a Redwall badger.
Almost went to Scraps, but I I like my main gallery thing to update every now and then...

Nice, I just started reading Lord Brocktree (reading the books in chronological order, not printed order) and Brian's style is just great. [Got into the series via the three animated series'.]
This piece just looks so good and the title made me recognise the referance instantly.

*squeels* DUDE! Not only is Lord Brocktree my favorite badger, but Lord Brocktree is also my favorite of the book series (though there might be slight bias, as it was the first Redwall book I read).
:)
And yeah, I agree, I like Brian's writing...especially about food. <3 I never caught the animated series though...>.>; I wasn't too impressed with the artwork. I personally would LOVE a CG movie based on the series ( with similar quality of Chronicles of Narnia) :3
Hehe, and y eah, glad you caught the title reference, was definitely meant to sound familiar. ;3

Cool ^_^
Yeah, these honeycovered flap-jack type things the squirrels have sound great :) I have all three series' (Redwall, Mattimeo and Mathias) on DVD via the official site, appart frm some consistancy errors I thought the series' was very well done [just hope that it turns out to have done the books justice when I get that far.] A CG movie/series could be pretty good but I'd think that the expense would cause them to make extensive changes/cuts to the storyand risk ruining it, the major problem is that (as far as I know) no-one has yet made a realistic CG film on the level of Narnia/Compass with an entirely non-human cast..... I just don't see them going for the concept, as to the creators the whole point of that level of realism is to make the human actors fit seamlessly... no humans, no need to be so real.

White it looks rough, I actually like the apearance of it. The Badger Lord not being in full focus adds to their air of mystery that Mr. Jacques wrote into them. Lord Brocktree is my favorite of all the oens he's written about and the book "Lord Brocktree" is my favorite book, with Loamhedge being second only because of two characters being almost as kick-ass as Brocktree.
Sadly, Redwall fandom within the fur community seems to be quite lacking. There's two rpg groups in SecondLife based on redwall, and there was even an Abbey being built at one time but it's all since flopped and the groups are almost always silent. I personaly have 3 characters based in Redwall, thoughtwo are relegated mainly to NPC status. Mooneye who's a badger, Marcus who becomes a bearer of Martin's sword, and my main Redwaller is Rustail, a ranger-esque red squirrel.
I actually plan on sometime in 2010 writing a letter to Mr. JAcques asking his permission to comission a local sword forger to make a replica of the Sword of Martin. If that comes to fruition I'll be posting images on my FA page ^_^
Eulalia, my friend! 'Tis a word tha' brings a tear tae my e'e an strewnth it's way my hert.
