Story
Amendelwyr and her sons drifted along the river. She used a little magic to keep herself from being submerged too much, and let the river's flow keep her steadily moving along its surface.
Her little ones smiled and sat comfortably on her belly, enjoying the experience that their mother brought them along for. Theowyl was relaxed, but Koathrax sat himself up with his bright cross visible, chattering about how beautiful the river was.
"Be like unto this river, my sons. Gentle, but ever flowing forward. You will be strong dragons. Yet, strength does not come from your size and power. It should come from your heart and determination."
"Yes, mother," came their pensive response. Theowyl giving his mother a full grin after, thinking about his mother's promise.
Amendelwyr's heart was warm, seeing the joy she shared with them. As the shards of light broke through the tree's leaves above, dappled along the surface and her scales. The world around them was as soothing as her trip along the river.

I actually have them all designed, (some minor edits made since then)! The hatchlings are definitely the cutest things in the whole world and I can't wait for writing more about them individually too.
