All the experiences and memories will always be there. But he no longer needs to be shackled by his troubled past. Instead embarrasses it. Loving him self Then and Now.

Some of us love our past selves and hate who we are now because of what the past trauma did to us. We long for the perfection that was that past self and would give up the remainder of our lives to go back and be the person we weren't allowed to be back then.

Very true, slowly Overtime though it may be hard. we try to heal from those past trauma's. We long for perfection, it's not obtainable. But there is beauty in imperfection.

As someone who knows i assure you there is not. Some scars do not heal and every day you get further from what would have been only makes you hurt more. Sorry if i got deep and uncharacteristically depressing. Your art here hit deep.
