Well, I sait it was a new series and as such, I obviously was going to write a second chapter. This time, I decided that the genie should visit Ibuki and as you can see on this drawing, she shows the ninja gal a special treasure she got.
For the drawing I went with my friend Koihog as we were talking about doing an art trade and was interested in working with him after seeing some of his work.

Ibuki expected something else.
Years after she graduated from the Third Ninja School, Ibuki finally got the opportunity to live the normal life she wanted. She traveled around Japan, met with some of her friends she met during the tournaments she participated in and even went out with those cool and handsome guys she always went crazy about. The ninja gal believed that nothing would stop her, but then she received an invitation to come back to her school as out of the students that graduated during the last five years, Ibuki was the one that got the most recognition.
She used that opportunity to boast a bit about her abilities and enjoyed the praise she got from the students, but things took a turn once she heard some teachers talking about the possibility of her staying for a bit and being in charge of a group. In any other occasion, Ibuki might had accepted as she did like the idea of her teaching a group of ninja gal’s, but as she was the middle of her own adventure and her next stop was a city where a tournament was being held, she decided that her best option would be to sneak out and give an explanation later.
As night came, the ninja gal moved forward with her plan, easily leaving the room she was staying and feeling proud of herself for not alerting the guards. “Look at you, a young adult and yet, you still got it,” she said while doing a light chuckle. This bringed memories of those nights where she sneaked out of the academy to go to some tournaments or just for her own enjoyment. Ibuki had a lot more experience now and while she matured, part of her still was that gal who just wanted to do what she liked. “Now to see where to go next. Should I take the same route I always went with or should I try something different this time?”
“I think you should stay,” at first, the ninja gal thought that one of the night guards of the academy found her, but as she turned around, she was surprised to see that no one was there. At first, she believed that this was just her mind making her think someone was there, but as she heard that voice again, Ibuki tried to look for the one who was talking. Thanks to their own training as ninjas, the night guards could hide in plain sight and Ibuki decided to wait for them to show themselves, but to her surprise, it wasn’t a night guard or a ninja that was watching her, but instead, it was a friend of hers. “Hello, Ibuki! Planning on going for a walk?”
“El-Elena…is that you?” While her friend looked mostly the same, there was something new as the lower part of her body and her legs were replaced with a bright cyan genie tail. She did hear that the white-haired gal was on a trip around the world and that she made a stop in Egypt, but to see her like that was indeed unexpected and while being aghast at first, Ibuki still felt happy to see her friend and even complimented her new style. “You look great! Wait, if you are a genie it means you can grant any kind of wishes?”
“I haven’t gotten a chance to test that, but I don’t think that is important at the moment. So, can you tell me why you are trying to escape?” Elena was someone cheerful and with a big heart, but she was also someone who liked to do things right and it was obvious that Ibuki was trying to leave without permission. The ninja gal was one of her closest friends and while she didn’t want to risk being seen leaving the academy, she couldn’t lie to her friend.
“Look, I had a good time and enjoyed being praised by some of those girls, but I want to continue traveling and I can’t do that if I stay here. You understand, right?” She did, but at the same time, she didn’t. Elena would have loved to be in her position and teach some of those girls, but she also knew that Ibuki was someone who liked to travel and do her own things. Nonetheless, the white-haired gal wondered if she could change the mind of her friend and let her see that she was getting a nice opportunity. “Maybe you could help me. You want to see that tournament too? If yes, why don’t you use your powers to take me there? That can be a wish?”
Thanks to her being a genie with free will, Elena could ignore her request, but as she wanted to use her powers for good, she decided to use them to show her friend that staying was a better option. The cheerful gal smiled, already thinking about what to do before coiling Ibuki with her tail, all while she repeated that she was going to give her a special reward. It was clear this was her trying to distract her from her move and as Ibuki lost herself in the idea of a nice reward, she didn’t understand that she failed into Elena’s trap. As the ninja gal went on to talk about what the two could do with Elena’s powers, the white-haired gal made a pendant appear in her hands and waited for Ibuki to lock her gaze on it.
“We could go anywhere we want and we could even invite our friends to come with them. Isn’t that…great?” The moment the ninja gal locked her gaze, she couldn’t take her eyes away from it. Not only that, but as Elena started swinging it from one side to the other caused her to feel dazed. She went from having enough energy to talk about her future plans and what she wanted to do to feeling tired and having a hard time looking away from the captivating pendant. “Elena…what are…you doing?”
“I’m just showing you a new treasure I got, something that I got the moment I became a genie. Isn’t it nice? The way it shines and moves from the left to the right? I think if you look deeper, you’ll find something special,” the sound of her voice was as captivating as the pendant and Ibuki couldn’t help but to listen more to what she had to say. Elena was talking about a special thing and that was all it took for the ninja gal to pay more attention to her friend. “You are doing good, Ibuki. Keep watching the pendant and listening to my voice.”
As this was her first time using her hypnotic abilities, Elena decided to take a calmer approach and apart from a few moments where Ibuki tried to break free from her coils or to look away, the ninja gal remained still. The pendant helped her be at ease, letting her forget about the reasons she was trying to leave the academy at night and also wondering what else Elena had prepared for her. The mention of a surprise also caught her attention and luckily for her, the short-haired gal was going to tell her about that.
“I remember you telling me about the special events in your academy like some trips and when some fighters came to visit, times where you and your classmates had fun and had a good time. Now you can have that again, you know? A special moment for you and others to enjoy,” her plan was to keep the revelation at the end while letting Ibuki think about those nice days. Her time in the Third Ninja School had some good and bad moments, with the ones that Elena mentioned leaning more towards the good ones. The ninja gal’s change of pose was all the genie needed to see to know that her words did the trick on her friend, meaning that she could finally say the last part, which she did after moving the pendant closer to her gaze. “They want you to stay here and train some of those young girls. They trust in you to do that and they believe you can do a great job…and I believe that too. Isn’t that nice?”
“Is…it is…” too entranced to even think by herself, Ibuki agreed with what her friend said. The pendant and her calm voice made her realize that she was overthinking, that turning down the chance of training those ninja girls was a bad idea. She was also grateful that there still was time for her to rethink her decision and she was thankful for Elena’s assistance. As she continued to look deeply into the pendant, letting the idea that her friend indulged in her mind became stronger, Elena smiled, pleased with herself for her first induction being a successful one. She did what she wanted as she used her powers to help her friends and this was what happened with Ibuki.
“Good! It makes me so happy to know that we are thinking the same thing,” Elena said while stopping swinging the pendant. It was no longer necessary for her to use it against her friend as the spirals in her eyes and the way her body became limp was all she had to see to know that her treasure changed her friend’s mind. What also caught her attention was Ibuki’s reaction as while it took her a bit to make the mind of her friend be under a deep state of trance, this wouldn’t have worked unless she desired this. All it took was the pendant and her voice to make her realize that while it wasn’t the normal life she desired, it still was a good life.
As the white-haired gal continued to look at Ibuki, enjoying her dazed expression and pleased with herself for a successful induction, she imagined some future encounters, where she would continue to use her powers for good. The aftermath of the ninja gal’s induction gave Elena more confidence and motivation as she felt that she could use her special abilities for more. She would have continued to give her some words of motivation if it wasn’t for the fact that it was getting late and she didn’t want the night guards or someone passing by to see the two of them there.
“Now, Ibuki, I want you to go back to the academy. You’ll go to your room and sleep deeply. You will also forget about this encounter and the only thing that you’ll remember is before sleeping, you were thinking about wondering when you could see some of your friends, including me,” even though Elena felt that she helped Ibuki, she still wanted to keep this encounter a secret, preferring to make an appearance tomorrow and maybe continuing helping her friend. After she liberated Ibuki from her coils, she looked at her one last time before signaling her to go back to the dorms and the ninja gal obeyed, walking mindlessly to the direction where she came from.
The encounter with Elena made Ibuki realize that remaining in the academy and accepting the offer of being a mentor to that group of ninja girls could be good for her. It only took hypnosis and the assistance of her friends and while she continued to drift into a nice state of bliss, she was looking forward to the next day. The same could be said for Elena, who decided to stay in the academy too and wait until the morning to see Ibuki. What stood out the most for the white-haired gal was how she convinced her friend to listen to her and she wondered what else she could do. Her genie powers could do anything and more and as she lost herself in her thoughts, thinking about how she could continue to help Ibuki and the future encounters she was going to have with her friends, Elena smiled.
